What We’ve Demonstrated
- Power electronics circuit simulation with a step size of 20 nanosecond.
- The capability of running 100 Inverter Based Resources (IBR) in real time in a single module with a step size of 24 nanosecond.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of heat sink with 52500 Degrees of Freedom (DOF) or unknowns in less than a second in a single module
The results of our software are matched with commercial software simulation results. With our approach, a system up to 5 million DoF can be simulated in a single module. By connecting multiple modules in parallel the capacity can be increased further to address larger systems.
We See the Future
We see a future where our software will be used as a tool for high performance computation. With faster and high-capacity simulation, supercomputers could predict severe weather events, crack weapon code, simulate weapon testing, and expedite engineering design.
