At Universal Real Time Power Conversion we are creating the future of physics based real-time computation with our innovative products.

Real Time Simulator

We’re currently developing a proprietary unique high-performance real time Physics-Based Simulation (PBS) tool that can also be used with Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) simulation and testing. Our simulator will be better than current solutions by:

Accommodating more models.

Our solution can test 20-100x more models into a single simulator, enabling lower step size (10 to 50x improvement) and providing higher accuracy. The HIL simulator will simulate a power converter by emulating actual switching transients in real-time.

Introducing physics for the first time.

A physics-based turnkey modeling solution for high-performance real time computing by enabling Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Finite Difference (FD) methods for solving thermal, electromagnetic field, and structural solutions.

Being exceptionally faster.

The speed of simulation achieved through URTPC proprietary solver is about 100-1000x faster than state-of-the-art solutions.

What We’ve Demonstrated

  • Power electronics circuit simulation with a step size of 20ns
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of heat sink with 52500 Degrees of Freedom (DOF) or unknowns in less than a second in a single module

The results of our software are matched with commercial software simulation results. With our approach, a system up to 5 million DoF can be simulated in a single module. By connecting multiple modules in parallel the capacity can be increased further to address larger systems.

We See the Future

We see a future where our software will be used as a tool for high performance computation. With faster and high-capacity simulation, supercomputers could predict severe weather events, crack weapon code, simulate weapon testing, and expedite engineering design.
